Aylesbury Vale Chiropractic - Meet The Team

Jenny Weintrop MChiro (SA) DC (UK) ICSC

DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Jenny has over 20 years’ experience as a qualified chiropractor, with 13 years spent practicing across the three counties. In 2021, she established Aylesbury Vale Chiropractic, a venture that embodies her commitment to growing as a healthcare professional and providing the best chiropractic treatments for her clientele and the local community.

As an ICSC qualified chiropractor (International Certified Sports Chiropractor), Jenny is equipped to treat elite athletes as part of multidisciplinary teams. Her qualifications also include proficiency in dry needling (medical acupuncture), instrument-assisted myofascial techniques, and taping techniques. Furthermore, she has pursued additional studies focusing on the treatment of infants, functional neurology, and Sacro occipital techniques.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Jenny stepped up to support healthcare efforts by joining the NHS as a clinical caseworker within the Test and Trace team. This experience deepened her understanding of the NHS's essential role in community healthcare and how she can effectively integrate her skills into this model. The communication and safeguarding training she received significantly enhanced her clinical skills.

In addition to her clinical work and contributions to the NHS, Jenny began serving in February 2021 as an examiner on the Test of Competence panel for the GCC (General Chiropractic Council). This panel assesses the clinical competency of international graduates wishing to practice in the UK, further demonstrating her commitment to the chiropractic profession.

Jenny’s Journey

Jenny qualified as a chiropractor from the University of Johannesburg in 2004 and was awarded the CASA (Chiropractic Association of South Africa) Presidents Medal for her outstanding contributions to the field. She was the first representative from the University of Johannesburg to join the WCCS (World Chiropractic Congress of Students). Before starting her private practice, Jenny worked as a clinical supervisor at the student clinic and served as an assistant lecturer at the university, where she was dedicated to educating future chiropractic professionals.

In 2005, Jenny arrived in the UK and began practicing in the three counties, initially at ISIS Chiropractic Clinic in Aylesbury. After a brief hiatus during which she returned to practice in South Africa for two years, she came back to the UK following the birth of her son, Cole. For over nine years, Jenny honed her skills at Chirozone in Leighton Buzzard, where she continued to develop her expertise in chiropractic treatments through postgraduate studies.

Jenny is married to Warren, her IT 'guy', and together they have a son, Cole. The family has been living in Leighton Buzzard since 2011, where Jenny has also collaborated with a skilled massage therapist to provide integrated care for her patients.

Clare Fensome

MASSAGE THERAPIST

Clare is from Leighton Buzzard and lives with her husband and daughter, Polly, who is seven years old. After what can only be described as a mid-thirties wobble five years ago, Clare decided life was too short to hate Mondays. She retrained as a massage therapist in a field she is passionate about, allowing her to help others. Clare believes in the extensive benefits that massage can bring to a person's life and thinks it should be accessible and affordable for everyone. As a keen runner and busy mother who has faced her own mental health challenges, Clare understands the positive impact that massage can have on both physical and mental well-being. In her view, massage is a necessity, not a luxury.

Clare is a Level 4 qualified Sports Massage Therapist who is also skilled in Deep Tissue Massage and Myofascial Release. She has substantial experience working in multidisciplinary settings alongside physiotherapists and osteopaths. In addition, Clare has enjoyed providing chiropractic treatments to her many lovely clients in their homes. We are very excited that Clare has decided to join Aylesbury Vale Chiropractic, and I am certain she will be an incredible asset to our patients along with our qualified chiropractor.
